[izpack-users] Shortcuts not displaying on Linux Fedora System

My Izpack installer is showing shortcut panels ok, but they dont appear 
to actually be gettting installed., using Redhat Fedora2. If I install 
as the root user all the shortcut folders appear in the shortcut panel, 
if I run as a normal user they do not but in both cases no shortcut 
appear to be installed after installtion

below I have posted the full output of the installtion when run with the 
debug options enabled, you can see near the bottom that it is doing 
something with shortcuts.
