I have not yet. It depends strongly on SimpleConfig, which Fabrice and
I have been working on. Due to some details and timing, we could not
publish SimpleConfig. We will be publishing it when Fabrice gets back
from his honeymoon and can go over a couple things he wanted to review.

Since the encryption and a few other features or panels I've come up
with depend on SimpleConfig, I want to get SimpleConfig out, work with
the feedback on it, and basically settle anything with SImpleConfig
before I publish encryption and anything else that depends on
SimpleConfig.

That was my thinking. I think computers are fast enough that the time
it takes to compress should not be an issue so there's no need to make
it an option for the compiler.
