Hi Roshan,

Command installer is "kind of" provided with IzPack.
If you choose the finishPanel in your installer. You're asked once reached
this panel whereas you want to save an automation script or not.
If you do so, all the info youv've provided during the install is stored
into and xml file.
Then, you can just use the xml generated as an argument to your installer:

java -jar installer.jar automation.xml

The command line interface have been discussed many many times on this list,
you can do a search on the list to get more info. I personnaly use this way
to run installation on many computers with the same parameters.
You could also parser the xml using any scripting language you please (ant,
shell, batch...) to make the changes you need to it depending on the target
machine.

Cheers,
Fabrice

Thanks. I fgured that on out and my POC was done :-)

But now I have one more challenge - to create a command line installer for
32 bit and 64 bit UNIX platforms.

Where can I some info on how to do this?

It would be wonderful if I could get some help on this as this would be a
great step forward for IzPack.

I know of this link where there was some information, but the entire source
code is not provided.

thanks
Roshan
