No problem for me. You know, I think that the best docu is the
source. But right, I have not know about this feature.

What I really will miss (if I will use the UserInputPanel) is the DTD.

The reason is really simple. Somone (Stefano Gamma) has implemented 
it in the UserInputPanel and you have checked in the given patch.
For ShortcutPanel nobody has done it.
But I think it makes also no sense to create a short cut for a 
not installed pack.

We have more than one point where are different handlings of one
"thing". I have seen it at writing the logfile docu. 
The packs dependant are also resolved different. Some specs 
declares an sub element for packs (e.g. UserInputPanel), some
declares it as root element (e.g. RegistryInstallerListener).

That's one problem, if more than one developer works without
a road map.
