[izpack-devel] Vista

Hi all,
will be nice, if the VM version 1.6 can be run elevated.
But in the given link I have read this:
"
In future releases, the ONLY way to run an application elevated will be
to have a signed manifest that identifies the privilege level the
application needs.
"
Seems so, MS tries to exclude software which will be produced
by private persons.
May be we should not only look to use a exe which e.g. has the
name setup.exe else to determine how to create the launcher with
the needed manifest and where to get the signature.
Alternate we should analyze what should be change to allow an
installation without elevation.

Cheers

Klaus
