Sorry to catch up at this point, but i couldn't help notice that you
mentioned using 1.5.... Could you try the same installer with 1.4.2_xx?
The thing is that we had  a bunch of issues with 1.5 as for an unknow reason
the SUN Team still is unable to provide a fully clean/working version of it.
Anyhow, this won't probably solve the problem.
Have you thought of debuging with Eclipse ?
We have a tutorial on how to do that in the docu. (If you need more help to
set it up, just contact me...)

As far as i'm concerned, i use the shorcut panel and i never had any problem
of this kind.

As elmar said, i think we should try to isolate the problem. First let's see
with java 1.4.2_xx...

BTW, It's nice to see some news from my San Francisco homeboy... See i ain't
going to US but close enough :-)
