Hi all, and thanks Marc for this very good point. It will provide a much cleaner
approach in my opinion.

I am in favour of using the logging package of JDK 1.4+.

Log4J is also very good, but do we really need all of its features when the one
provided in the JDK already meets the requirements?

As for commons-logging I am really not in favour of using it in our case, as I
don't really see the point of adding an abstraction layer between IzPack and a
logger.
